# Tournaments

Welcome to **Tournaments**! Did you think that there was only going to be Challenge mode and Leagues? The fun has only just begun; eventually Son Soccer will launch Tournaments so you can play with your friends or unknown players to get the most attractive rewards. Are you ready? 

**Special themed tournaments will be created with guaranteed rewards,** can you imagine playing in the snow, or in the beach? We can't tell you more, but we promise lots of fun and rewards! 

The tournaments will work just like in real life. In order to participate you will have to pay a certain amount of $CT or $DT which will be accumulated in the pot and distributed among the 10% of the players who have made it the farthest. In addition, the 3 first places of the Tournaments with total prizes over BUSD 1,000, will receive an NFT badge according to their position in the Tournament, which can be revalued and traded in the future. 

All participants will have the option to win a prize, since upon registration they will receive a lottery number that will give them access to the drawing for different rewards. 

For the management of the Tournament a commission of 8% of the amount contributed to the Pot will be charged.

All players will participate in a minimum of 4 matches. The first 3 matches will be against random players, and the points obtained will be used to generate an overall ranking. Based on that ranking, the players will be placed in a play-off scheme (direct elimination) so that the best pre-ranked players will play against the worst pre-ranked players, and the 2 best players of the general ranking will only play against each other in the final (if they make it).

*The stats of the SONERS are equalized, so the winner of the Tournament will be the best player regardless of the SONER you have.*

### REINSCRIPTIONS

Players who are eliminated in the first 2 play-off rounds may reinscription by paying another additional inscription fee. The reinscriptions will have no commission cost. 

**Example**: If the tournament registration is 108 CT/DT, the re-buys cost will be 100 CT/DT each. 

The proceeds from these reinscriptions will be included in the reward pot, and they will be distributed in that Tournament.

### GUARANTEED REWARDS

Many of the Tournaments will have **guaranteed rewards**.
